In addition to the signals of HDMI/DP/SDI/DVI, the signals for serial communication via RS-232 are also converted into optical signals for transmission.
The "AOPT-MX Series" is an extender that can transmit electrical signals over fiber optic cables at a resolution of 1080p@60Hz for distances of up to 400 meters. By installing an optical matrix (AOPT-MX0808-FD-2LC) between the transmission unit and the receiving unit, it is possible to extend the connection distance up to 800 meters. This product exceeds the transmission distance limitations of metal cables, allowing it to be used in environments susceptible to interference, such as medical equipment, without worrying about noise.
